FFN - Simply Perfect

I really couldn't have asked for a much better performance out of FFN. Sure the stock could have rocketed over 200% the day I alerted it, but that takes all the fun out of it. Having to ride the daily dips, trips, and hurdles of a stock that has been shorted almost to death makes it all worth it in the end.

Back in December right near FFN's all-time lows of $.51 I wrote a post entitled "FFN ready for a short squeeze?" This is what the chart looked like when I wrote that article:

I wrote about FFN many times after that as the stock slowly creeped higher, I anticipated a run to at least $1.20, even when this was a $.50 and $.60 stock. It did that and then some hitting $1.52 today. Simply perfect.

Here is what the chart looks like after the close today, anyone who decided to buy FFN after my December post is sitting on some very nice profits:

I know many have made quite a profit on this stock, including some of my subscribers. There is nothing that makes me happier than my readers and subscribers making substantial profits. While FFN could still see more gains, most notably a push back to $2.00, wouldn't have been nice to be in this stock at $.50 or $.60 or $.70 like many of my readers and subscribers?

I even wrote about this stock last week and annotated this chart. You still had a chance to make some very nice profits from this stock then. I couldn't have been anymore right about this stock:

The next FFN will come, and I will be just as happy watching them profit from it.

ATRN - Now a 800% Call

ATRN is now up some 800% since being brought to my subscriber chat room at its lows. At the time I noted solid support at $.0085 and that the stock has a great chance for a strong reversal. At the time I also stated that I felt the stock would trade over $.06 a share.

Today ATRN went over $.09 a share, and has made a remarkable move off its lows.

FFN - The Short Squeeze I Said Could Happen is Coming To Fruition

FFN just broke a major technical barrier, its 50 DMA and has its sights set on loftier prices as shorts scramble to cover their over 1 million shares they've borrowed betting on a decline in FFN. RTGV - Stock Coming Off Lows

I really like this stock for a move to $.002 and possibly beyond. The stock is holding the $.008/.001 range as support and looks to break resistance at $.0012/.0015. This was a $.01 + stock not long ago and the stock has an attractive share structure. Also recent news seem to hint at better things ahead for the company. RTGV is a stock to watch in 2012.

FFN - 24% Today

FFN is a stock I have featured many times on this blog. There is a heavy short position in this stock of over 21%. I think this stock heads back over $1.00 and ultimately to at least $1.25. The $1.75 level is also possible here and when the stock starts to rally, as it did today, the shorts will be compelled to cover adding to the buying pressure.

To start the year I highlighted ASTI of a stock to watch for a move higher from $.39. It's been a nice run so far up well over 100% with a close of $.85 today. Congratulations to those profiting from this stock.

NXOI - A 100% Alert To My Subcribers

I alerted my subscribers in chat and via email this morning when I saw the NXOI Form 4 hit the wires. The bid was at $.0017 and the ask $.0018. The stock had been terribly oversold, and looked poised, regardless of the Form 4, to mount a rally. NXOI was a dry pile of pine needles and that Form 4 was the match that lit the NXOI fire today.

The stock did not take off right away, and there was ample share supply under $.002 before the real volume kicked in. If you look at the NXOI chart above the only problem I see is historically NXOI has had a great one day pop and then declined the next. Hopefully this time will be different for NXOI longs.

FFN - Over 20% of Float Is Short - Squeeze Coming?

I've been writing about FFN since it broke below a dollar and hit the low $.50's. The stock is now in recovery mode, and while it is trying to watch, it is clear that the stock is working its way higher now and the selling has abated. What hasn't abated is the short sellers. The short positions in the stock increased from the previous report and now stands at almost 21%.

As the stock continues its climb out of the ditch, shorts will be looking to cover and take their profits, which, when 20% of the float is short, could lead to a nice short squeeze. Factor in the bullish looking charts and you have a stock that should post a breakout in the short term.

I still feel a push to $1.20 - $1.50 is entirely possible. This was a $10 stock less than 9 months ago and once it starts to squeeze higher there is really no telling exactly where it will go. One thing we do know, shorts need to buy back stock to profit from their bets, which only adds fuel to the fire.

Today I treated my chat room today to a great alert. MSMY had news out before the bell with the stock at $.0033. I had been watching this stock for a while, knew it was already oversold (MSMY was on my bottom scans) and let my chat member know that the stock could see a nice bounce on the news and oversold conditions.

The stock slowly started creeping higher and once it broke above $.0045, which took some time, the stock really started to rocket higher. It was a nice trade today and closed right near its highs.

A nice day for anyone who bought in when I alerted it pre-market.

TORONTO , Jan. 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Teliphone Corp (OTCQB:TLPH) the world's local digital telecommunications company is pleased to announce that it has signed a definitive agreement for the acquisition of all the operations, technology and intellectual property of the New York Telecom Exchange Inc. (NYTEX), the world's first neutral international telecommunications commodity exchange for USD $5 million in an all stock transaction. New York Telecom Exchange Inc will receive a total of 20 million Teliphone common shares at $0.25 /share.

NYTEX will operate as a separate division within Teliphone and at current volumes could contribute over $25 million in annual revenue bringing Teliphone's total annual run rate revenue to approximately $31 million .

For those of you new to this blog, or who haven't been reading up on the ONTC story, AMIR KAMMONA has been buying up ONTC stock left and right. He now owns almost 200 million shares of ONTC stock, with all those shares coming into his ownership via open market transactions.

As of 1/6/2012 the Reporting Person is the beneficial owner of 176,135,420 or about 47% of the Issuer's issued and outstanding common stock.

AMIR continues to buy ONTC stock at these prices and has in essence set a floor for ONTC. You can see it in the chart.

CGFIA - Raises Authorized Shares to 35 billion 500 Million

Weekend Sub-Penny Stock To Watch - ANTS

This stock has a 52 week high of $.64 and traded over $3.00 in 2010. It has since crumbled and at $.0024 a share, I think a "dead cat" bounce is in the cards. This isn't a stock you want to be holding onto too long, but the chart itself is looks ready for a reversal.

This $.0024 stock was trading over $.10 a share less than two months ago. There could be a decent rally for these shares, if they do indeed bounce.

SEC CHARGES COMPANY AND ITS OFFICERS WITH ACCOUNTING FRAUD

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that it filed an action in federal court in Massachusetts against JBI, Inc., a publicly-traded company formerly located in Massachusetts and now headquartered in Ontario, Canada. The Commission also charged JBI’s current CEO, John Bordynuik, a resident of Ontario, Canada, and its former CFO, Ronald Baldwin, Jr, a resident of Palm Harbor, Florida. The action alleges that the defendants engaged in a scheme to commit securities and accounting fraud by reporting materially false and inaccurate financial information on the financial statements of JBI, Inc. for two reporting periods during 2009.

According to the Commission’s complaint, JBI is purportedly a technology company focused on data restoration and recovery and environmentally engineered product development. The company is headquartered in Canada, but purportedly has operations in New York, Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The complaint alleges that JBI is purportedly also involved in the research and development of a process designed to convert plastic waste into oil, known as “Plastic2Oil” or “P2O”. The Commission alleges that during the third quarter of 2009 and the year end 2009, JBI materially overstated certain assets in an effort to bolster its balance sheet and success in two private capital raising efforts (Private Investment in Public Equity or PIPES) geared toward raising the capital necessary to begin commercial operation and production of P2O. The Complaint alleges that JBI raised over $8.4 million for the company in these PIPES just before the company issued a public statement indicating its financial statements could no longer be relied upon, in part, due to the erroneous valuation of certain assets, known as media credits, on the balance sheet.

The Commission alleges that in contravention of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”), the company erroneously booked the media credits at a value of $9.997 million, thereby becoming the single largest asset on the company’s balance sheet, when they should have been initially booked at a value of $1,000,000 when acquired in August 2009, and subsequently, the media credits should have been remeasured at their current value and written down to zero as of the end of the company’s third fiscal quarter on September 30, 2009. According to the complaint, Bordynuik was aware of, or was reckless in not being aware of, GAAP concerns surrounding the reported value of the media credits in advance of the company’s third quarter 2009 Form 10-Q filing with the Commission on November 16, 2009 and the year end 2009 Form 10-K filing with the Commission on March 31, 2010 yet falsely certified that the company’s financial statements for those reporting periods were filed in conformity with GAAP. The Commission complaint further alleges that Baldwin was aware of, or was reckless in not being aware of, GAAP concerns surrounding the reported value of the media credits in advance of the company’s year-end 2009 10-K filing on March 31, 2010, yet falsely certified that the company’s financial statements for that period were filed in conformity with GAAP.

ATRN - A 300% Call In My Chat Room

ATRN was a hot stock today closing up 300%, but it was more of a hit in my subscriber chat room yesterday at $.01 and below. A few subscribers posted that they purcvhased shares below $.01.

It was then the stock was talked about and I noted the support at $.0084 at the time. I thought taking half a position at $.01 and the rest at $.0084 would pay off. ATRN hit a low of $.008 yesterday and closed today at $.03. It sure did pay off!

I also noted in my chat room today when the stock was pulling back that $.0183, based on the minute ticks of the chart and studies I follow, was a great spot the stock to bottom. It bounced right off of there as if on que.

I also stated at the time that a run to $.06 or better is possible. I still feel that way, and after todays strong close we are only 100% away from that figure.

Two more FORM 4 filings have hit the wires since including one today as Amir was busy buying up almost another 7 million shares today alone.

He now holds a total of 157,514,327 shares of stock. This is either a novice penny stock trader, helplessly averaging down, or something to keep on eye on. Assuming ONTC stops selling shares and Amir keeps buying, this stock will eventually go up. For ONTC shareholders its nice to know someone is buying up the stock. These are currently my favorite $.10+ stocks. I think NYXO has formed a nice bottom and could see a move higher. FFN pulled back today, but after six sessions of positive movement a pull back was not a shock. It did squeeze to new highs early before seeing its bid weaken. ASTI, RNN, and ROSG are three other charts to watch for reversal.

FFN is finally starting to break out. The stock hit bottom in the low $.50's and has started to work its way higher. Today it was up over 20% on a breakout type move.

As I have stated many times, FFN has almost 20% of its tradeable shares short. The shorters have done well from $10 down to $.50, but at some point shorts have to cover to take their profits. Covering shorts = additional buying pressure and could lead to a "short squeeze" where over zealous shorts cover their positions. The question is are we at the start of this covering phase? or was today the final day and the stock will plunge to new depths tomorrow and into 2012?

I think there is a strong case for further gains. I particularly like how during this decline the stock has traded just under its 50DMA before taking out new lows. If this happens here we could see FFN rally to almost $1.20.

Today FFN traded 10% of its tradeable float at 776,346 , the float is 7.6 million shares.

The last reported amount of shares short is 1.18 million. These numbers are from almost a month ago. They could be different today.

I'll be watching for the increased volume to continue and I would not be surprised at all to see more of a squeeze tomorrow which could put this stock back over $1 a share and closer to its 50 DMA.

NXMR rallies from $.0003 to $.005

Today NXMR sat quietly, even briefly after an 8k hit the wires. It was then I noted the NXMR could see a similar type run-up as ASFX did yesteryday. ASFX had an 8k filed and I noted that stock in my chat room at $.0025 it went on to hit $.018.

Today it was NXMR that saw the buying pressure, but it didn't happen right away and those in the chat room were alerted to it right away before a single trade took place.

NXMR ended up running from $.0003 to $.005. The rally fizzled out at the close of the session, but the stock still ended the day much higher.

NYXO - Chart Looking Better

Last trade $.19 for NYXO. The chart is looking much better after a nice drop from over $1 a share in September. The $.26 50 DMA is the point of next resistance. If this rally does come to fruition a quick 25-40% gain, possibly much more, is not out of the question.

Dec 27, 2011 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Universal Detection Technology , or UNDT, a developer of monitoring technologies, has entered into an agreement with Honeywell India, a unit of Honeywell International , to develop a radiation detector which would display radiation data collected via Bluetooth to a smart phone.

The product is designed to detect radiation levels on surfaces and food and to automatically send the collected data to a smartphone. The instrument in development will utilize a Cesium Iodide (CsI) scintillator for the detection of Gamma rays, the company said.

The device is expected to measure elevated levels of gamma radiation, transmit that data to a Bluetooth-ready smart phone, and give the user the ability to share the accumulated data with others through mapping and social networking features. The device will be easy to use for everyday users but also have the sensitivity to be utilized in the nuclear industry and HAZMAT crews. Preliminary estimates are that the device would be ready for commercial use in the second quarter of 2012, the company added.

The new device will be owned and marketed by Universal Detection Technology , under its brand. According to the agreement, any and all intellectual property including any patents which may be filed will be the sole property of Universal Detection Technology .

"The accident at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant and the subsequent release of radiation exposed the unpreparedness of the radiation detection industry with its outdated detection technologies," said Amir Ettehadieh , UNDT's Director of R&D. FFN - Ready For A Short Squeeze?

As of Nov 30th almost 20% of the float is short. Considering the stock has fallen since then, its safe to say there are many more shorts in this stock then 3 weeks ago, which begs to question when they will cover? Friday's high volume breakout could be the start of a nice squeeze higher for this stock. We could see buyers step in, shorts cover, and an overall lack of supply lead to a nice jump in price per share.

I do think this $.55 stock will bounce back over $1.

GLGL - Almost 100% Move --- The Before and After

TLAN the company has done so many positive things in 2011 including reducing the share count on more than two occasions. Currently at $.001 this stock could be one of those huge sub penny stock runners. Patience is difficult in this market but can also pay of handsomely.

FFN there is a large short position in this $.54 stock. I think it comes back soon and goes over $1. Let's see if I know what I am talking about.

AERN this is the next 'A' stock runner. At $.0056 this looks a lot like ALZM and it has the potential to pull a similar move.

To put that type of move into perspective a $1,100 investment would have turned into $5,559 at today's highs.

The stronger volume, but lack of a more substantial move, in my view, means fresh shares are hitting the market. Just something to be wary of. Being up over 200%, now is not the time to be diving into this stock. It time to be finding the next one.

As soon as todays press release hit the wires today, less than a minute into the trading session the stock started to move, and I knew it had a great shot at posting a sizeable gain as it did over a week ago. I noted the price in my chat room of $.011 as those were on the offer when the release hit the wires. It was on from then as the stock ticked higher, and ultimately mounted a very strong rally.

Both of these stocks have been in a freefall. Buying a stock when everyone is heading for the exits can be a very profitable move.

Stock has fallen from over $10 this summer. Almost 20% of the float is short as reported at the end of November up sharply from the middle of November. I would not be surprised if there were even more shares shorted since then. If the stock does indeed bounce, we could see a significant short squeeze.

Washington, D.C., Dec. 12, 2011 – The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged a shell packaging firm and several others involved in a penny stock scheme to issue purportedly unrestricted shares in the public markets.

The SEC alleges that Joseph Meuse and his firm Belmont Partners LLC – which is in the business of identifying and selling public shell companies for use in reverse mergers – fabricated and backdated documents used to convince a transfer agent and an attorney writing an opinion letter to issue free-trading shares of Alternative Green Technologies Inc. (AGTI). The SEC also charged AGTI and its CEO Mitchell Segal as well as Segal’s business partner Howard Borg and stock promoters David Ryan, Vikram Khanna, and Panascope Capital Inc. for their roles in the scheme that resulted in unknowing investors purchasing fraudulently issued AGTI shares without the protections afforded by the securities laws.

“Shell packagers who buy and sell public companies for use by fraudsters have no rightful place in our markets,” said David Rosenfeld, Associate Director of the SEC’s New York Regional Office. “These shell packagers not only sold the shell company, but created the false documents necessary to cause the transfer agent to issue shares that should never have been sold to the public.”

According to the SEC’s complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Long Island, N.Y.-based AGTI and Segal, an attorney licensed to practice in New York, knowingly submitted false documents to a transfer agent and an attorney, who relied on them to conclude that free-trading shares of AGTI could legitimately be issued. Virginia-based Belmont Partners and Meuse aided and abetted AGTI’s fraud by knowingly creating and sometimes backdating the false documentation, including a sham assignment of debt and a fabricated and backdated corporate resolution and convertible note. Segal then used the stock certificates illegally issued to fund promotional campaigns promoting AGTI’s stock. The stock promoters – Ryan, Panascope Capital and its president Khanna – were charged with selling the unregistered securities.

The SEC’s complaint charges all defendants with violating Section 5 of the Securities Act of 1933, and AGTI and Segal with violating Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5(a) and (c) thereunder. Segal, Meuse and Belmont Partners are charged with aiding and abetting the fraud by AGTI. The SEC’s complaint seeks permanent injunctions and disgorgement against all defendants; a financial penalty against AGTI, Segal, Belmont Partners, Meuse, and Ryan; and officer and director and penny stock bars against Segal and Meuse. The SEC’s complaint also names several relief defendants for the purposes of recovering proceeds they received from the illicit stock sales.

Borg, Khanna and Panascope Capital have consented to the entry of a final judgment enjoining them from further violations of Section 5 of the Securities Act without admitting or denying the allegations in the SEC’s complaint. Khanna and Panascope Capital agreed to pay $81,477.10 to settle the charges, and Borg agreed to pay $35,264.05 and surrender to the transfer agent for cancellation more than four million shares of AGTI stock that were illegally issued. The settlements are subject to court approval.
